I would be fine with this if they didn't call themselves Human Fortress. This is clearing NOT Human Fortress. The first two albums are much better, which is probably why they dropped a lot of the musicians on this record and got the old ones back. I hope they go back to power metal, what they did best.

@Splimis: Who do you think "dropped" and "got back" someone? As I just answered to DMepicmetal, how can someone outside the band decide who the band is? Looking back, of course it would have been sensible to rename the band - everyone who heard HF for the first time loved the album, "only" the old fans, the powermetalheads, were confused - and, like you, disappointed or angry. But three years ago, this and nothing else was Human Fortress! You might want to thank those who left the band before...

This new album is very bad. I don't like it. It is not Human Fortress. I think these guys should create a new band with a new name, afterall this a new line up and a different style of music. Let Human Fortress be what it was, a great epic band.

@DMepicmetal This was the most HF you could get at that time. The band had grown to what you see and hear here. Members left and were replaced, it was an evolutionary process. Back then, no one expected a name change to be necessary. Proven wrong, obviously ;)

Yes, it's him. His name is Carsten Frank, now singer of Athorn.

Awesome, I love this band, maybe this album is different in many ways than they used to play, But it's sounds nice to my ears.

hmm, you really mean that a singer cannot sing because YOU don´t like him, or his style of singing? then you must be a very good singer by yourself when you can judge other people in that way or you are pretty narrow minded. maybe we can start a vote for that;)

if jioti hasn´t left the band, you would be able see here some kind of Pagan/Blackmetal video with thousands of blast beats. that was the style before carsten joined the band.
