man I cannot stop thinking about Haiti

I was raised in Martissant my sister was to

I remember it was a long time ago

i used to follow her everywhere she will go

Mona that's my mom she did the best she can

we had hard time life wasn't easy in Martissant

before we went to school she will put food in our backpack

and have dinner on the table when we come back

In Haiti we used to tell jokes late at night before we go to sleep

I love Haiti very deep

we eat rice and beans, I remember pate, pikliz

God bounced me back up

still Got minor issues but nothing too big

for God will take care of the kid
