Exactly. Christianity, the gospels anyway, came from Jews who were strongly influenced by Greek and Egyptian mystery religions; they created their own "god man" and inserted it into their own religion in a quasi believable way. But it was all symbolism, it wasn't until the romans got their mits on it that it became an actual religion of submission to a literal son of god.

Just as his accusation of Romans "they took part of the truth and changed it" he ignores the facts that don't fit his thesis while presenting enough truth to be palpable. Yes, true "Christianity" is Judaic Messianism, while modern Christianity has followed the traditions of Roman idolatery, but the full subversion was not until the compromises of the early third century CE under Constantine.

Following the fall of Pagan Rome, Christianity became the basis for all law in Europe. Only Christian Princes could claim authority. The refusal of Jews to accept Christianity was considered an act of sedition. "With what arogance do they refuse the sacrifice made for them by the Christ." they said. Because Jews rejected Christian authority, they could neither be granted citizenship nor equal rights. Their exclusion was their own doing.
