Raj Rajartnam provided large scale funds to the Tamil Tiger Terrorists(LTTE) 20/10/2009

It is bared that Raj Rajaratnam nabbed in the United States had given funds to the LTTE on a large scale. There are reports that he had provided millions of Dollars to the terrorist outfit.
According to available sources, these revelations have been made by Chief of the tiger weapons network KP, who is in the custody of the Sri Lanka Military. The sources further said the US intelligence has found two letters indicating that Rajaratnam had given funds to the LTTE, consolidating this statement.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General several months ago preferred charges against UNP Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake that a non resident had brought one million US Dollars to the island. The charges had been levelled under the Exchange Control Act. Colombo High Court Judge Deepali Wijesundera enlarged Mr. Karunanayake on bail on the 10th of July this year after conducting inquiries. He was granted a cash bail of 100,000 Rupees and a personal bail of one million Rupees. The High Court also barred Ravi Karunanayake from leaving the country without its permission.
