@joshe808 no it's highly unlikely any EMP event comes from the sun ever, or from space since a gamma-ray burst if close enough will simply roast the entire Earth 100% death of all life. Our sun has never delivered a single EMP to the Earth. Solar flares are not EMP's.

I still bank with BoA but I don't like the ridiculous fees. I went out of town for a day or two and accidently overdrafted my account. Each little charge I made had a $35 fee attached to it. So when I got back I was over $200 in debt. I didn't matter to them that I had the money in my savings that would have covered the charges I made, it still had to pay the fees. It was like robbery.

Why are you so worried of an EMP attack, its far more likely that an EMP event would come from space/sun but i rarely here you mention that.

North American geographic isolation from the rest of the world made the US a secure country. I think the US power grid network was constructed on that concept that no other country would ever attack the US. However in the modern era, EMP attacks, or even anti-satellite weapons can take out a large portion of the American electrical grid. So an upgrade would be a wise step.

Bank of America should be called BANK OF THE COMMUNIST
I work for a city that has an account in Bank of America......so our city pay-check is written out by BOA, They want to CHARGE $ 5.00 for non BOA customers to cash their check, This is BS. PLUS....BOA has a "special" line you have to get in for non BOA customers...They wait on all their BOA customers and get to you last. HOW RUDE.
BOA has turned into a bunch of cocky cocksucker ripoff artists. I WOULD NEVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT there.
