August 30, 2008 premiered the satirical comedy about very important social, cultural and political issues in beautiful Bellingen and other Australian country towns. Like the whole planet, Bellingen is going through incredible changes and challenges. Council elections were scheduled for September 13, 2008, so late-August was seen as the perfect time to pull to bits some of these pressing matters -- and laugh. The environment, development, overpopulation, political manipulation, and rural life were just some of the issues played with.
