The Nylons lineup of the 80s were amazing! My quartet always tried to emulate them in high school. Didn't sound like them, but Lord, were we inspired by their music and vocals.

All your comments warm my heart. Marc is my brother, and I miss him dearly. Thank you for sharing your memories and your reactions to his performance. Yes, he was indeed a very talented and dedicated musician and performer. He took his craft very seriously. He died far too young , at 40, on March 25, 1991 however, he lived his life to the fullest, achieving more than many who live to be elderly. He continues to inspire me. His musical legacy continues almost 22 years later. RIP dear brother.

I had this an album of thiers in1982, and loved it. Just remembered them and came here to listen- and find them even better than I recalled. they're so full of life- there is life in thier music. And, I played 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' by them- and, up loud, it just ENVELOPED me. Makes you wanna yell !!

epic
This is the kind of talent that is missing in most music these days. Sounding as good live as they do on recording. Really moves the heart.
