  • I have glandular fever at the moment and I'm praying for this nightmare to be over. I can barely do anything!

  • @EmreyMerkz you're not...I had glandular fever when I was a baby, and then again when I was around 15...I then had 2 more relapses within that same year...in my experience, you really only start feeling completely better like 6 months to a year later....I hope you feel better soon.

  • Glandular fever was the worst part of my life, my throat was sore beyond words and I could not swallow, ended up on a drip in hospital.

  • I had a blood test recently and I tested positive for the glandular fever bacteria in my body, but I don't remember ever being sick from it... must have got it as a kid.

  • I have had glandular fever for 5 months now, and I still feel bad, I think i'm going crazy.

  • @ShotTakeFilms Haha She's An Alien.

  • for the past 10 mths I have been suffering from burning sensations all over my body, stabbing pains as well as sore weak muscles. doctors see it as an anxiety disorder and are advising me to take lexapro.

last week a new doctor discovered I had ebv in the past. he does not believe my symptoms are caused by this. your opinion plz thx

  • My sister had it this time last year. She was really really ill with it. Now i've had it for the past week. My doctor thought i only had tonsilitus but took a blood test as a precaution. My parents and even the doctor didn't think i had it. My sister's eyes and face swelled up pretty badly, whereas mine haven't at all. My glands are swollen though, but not nearly as much as hers had. This proves that it affects other people more severely than others. The symptoms start to show up around 30-50 d

  • i have this but no where does it say that the tongue swells up like in my case, had a blood test the other day, im also scared

  • oh I think i have it I'm getting a blood test on tuesday :|
