  • @NatInAcid all the monkey movments must be elegant and graceful, that's not feminie, that's just how it's suppose to be done

  • Natin, there are a couple of "schools" respective of flourishing the mace. The one being used here is intended to look smooth and seamless. One that you would like better tends to be distinctively sharp and commanding. Like you, I happen to prefer this style. The point of a Drum Major is not to be an "ornament", it is to be a guide. Distinctive signal from the mace promotes this. All the rest is (forgive my saying so) mostly showing off. (Hey, whatever floats your boat, eh?!).

  • I think it looks smart, but does anyone think it looks to much like baton twirling? Baton twirling, to me is very feminine, and this just look so similar whereas a drum major i see as far more masculine.

  • very good drum major, i recently got appointed drum major of my platoon's corps of drums, so this is pretty inspirational.

  • Voice of the Guns a Great March, would have liked to hear more pipes though too.

  • okay... I hope you dont mean to be me... arturo who? I've never met anyone with my same name...

  • OMG, Ive never seen a scotish color guard before!!!
