My only wish is that you'd let the tape play a little longer so I could have heard the audience applaud! This is a beautiful piece, beautifully played-one of my favorites.

I Love this waltz!! i'm playing it hehe

I think Twilight actually turned a lot of people on to classical. Like me. I already loved music played by piano but I read the book and looked up debussy and I think his music is beautiful!

NEVER MENTION TWILIGHT!!!
but on the bright side, at least some people are being exposed to Debussy's beautiful works.
but i agree, debussy's compositions are Extremely serene and nostalgic.

Very well played. I'm working on finishing up Debussy's Suite Pour le Piano, thinking about moving on to this piece next.
How long have you played? This is quite an impressive performance.

I'd have to say, "En Bateau" is just beautiful, "Nocturne" has a strong adventurous feeling that juxtaposes a light happier feeling. I love them all, but "Reflections on the water" is the masterpiece imo. This text box wouldn't be large enough to explain why. The next one would be his 11th etude for arpeggios. Man, there's just so many. It seems like every one of his pieces has that touch of pleasure and originality that you don't find from most music.

Yeah I understand what you're saying. It's sad when it takes a modern film to expose classical newbies to the genre. Otherwise they'd think it was all Mozart and avoid it.

Beautifully played! I've always loved Debussy, there's something so serene and nostalgic about his compositions!!
What a shame that the film "Twilight" had to ruin it. I keep hearing people speaking of it but they're not true appreciators of classical music.
Either way, it's still a beautiful, timeless piece!

Good performance.
Beautifully played! I've always loved Debussy's compositions. They're always so serene and nostalgic...they just make you drift away!
What a shame the film "Twilight" had to ruin it for everybody. I frequently hear people talking about it but they are not true appreciators of classical music.
Either way, it's still a beautiful and timeless piece.

For someone who has played 8 years, this is a really admirable performance. Some of the comments left here are obviously inappropriate.
