its kind of amazing back then Mizzou was actually better than Colorado. But really Colorado was not really at all that good before the 90's Missouri on the other hand had some down years with Woody Widenhofer but was really in better shape than Colorado. Imagine if Missouri won this game and Colorado didn't than we might of been like LSU or Florida, while Colorado would of been like Iowa or Minnesota.

One team got to practice on the field leading up to the game and one team had to get used to it on the spot. Hardly seems fair.

How is it that the announcers NEVER caught on to the fact that they were playing a 5th freakin down? Unbelievable....

I was not only at the game, but I was right on the goal line staring down it and making room for my roommate to see over me. Johnson didn't make it into the endzone until after he was on his back and the whistle had sounded.

Also, we told the ref on the sideline what the correct downs were and he told us to shut up. I know a couple fans tried to get to the Missouri players to tell them, but obviously they weren't fast enough.
