Aupheus' instrumental album "EXCAVATED" is available NOW at: http://tinyurl.com/Aupheus
The animation & music for this video was put together by London's multi-talented DJ/Producer/Animator/Jack-Of-Many-Trades Aaron "AUPHEUS" Lampert. Here's is something Aupheus wrote to accompany the video with:
"I worked on this film in my spare time for well over a year. I've been working with visuals for as long as I've been making music and combining the two is something that I'm passionate about; one of the things I love about animation is that it means I get to work with drawing and sound simultaneously. I wanted to make something that was more like a short film as opposed to making a straight music video so I decided to rework the original track around a simple narrative inspired by the music. Alongside developing my music style, for the past few years I've been trying to develop an equivalent visual way of working. I'm a big fan of film soundtracks and music that conjures up strong visual imagery; this is something I try to do in my own music. I usually have a particular world in mind when I'm working on a track, and this is my attempt to try to visualise one of those worlds."
