Garner, NC Conagra Plant Explosion

Garner, NC is a small town thats kind of a suburb of Raleigh, NC and it was here that an early morning explosion at the Conagra Food Plant rocked that town. According to the Associated Press there was a blast at the plant that has resulted in at least two deaths and more than 40 people being taken to hospitals.

As of now, the cause of the explosion is unknown. According to attorney David Daggett of the NC law firm of Lewis & Daggett, it is our experience that explosions dont just happen. Usually when theres an explosion something was done wrong or a safety protocol was breeched. An initial review of public records indicates some safety violations occurred in 2006 and 2007 and other violations were found in an inspection as far back as 2001. "

Daggett went on to say that In handling explosions and other industrial accidents around the state of NC, experienced and in depth investigations are necessary in order to properly protect the interests of victims and their families.
