The Toronto Hearings were held at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, during the 10th anniversary weekend of 9/11.

September 11, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the events in New York and Washington that have played a dramatic role in modern history. These events have provided a pretext for a War on Terror that has replaced the Cold War as a global conflict framework within which military invasions and occupations have taken place, as well as violations of international law and human rights and a widespread assault on the civil rights crucial to democracies. Global military spending, which began a rapid downswing after the end of the Cold War, has, with the help of the official account of the 9/11 attacks, risen to Cold War levels and continues to rise. The focus on military solutions to complex human problems has sidetracked humanity at the very moment when international cooperation is most required to address genuine challenges that humanity faces.

In the meantime, the credibility of the official reports on the 9/11 attacks (by the 9/11 Commission, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other government or government-appointed agencies) has been questioned by millions of citizens in the United States and abroad, including victim family members, expert witnesses and international legal experts.

The International Center for 9/11 Studies has therefore decided to sponsor four days of International Hearings in the city of Toronto, Canada on the 10th anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001. During these Hearings, which will be broadcasted via the Internet, various expert witnesses will present the best available evidence into the case, discovered in the ten years since the 9/11 events occurred.

@WhatsReallyGoingOnUS I got an email today from the commision the son of a bitch took the funds and drained all the money and then put it toward some democracy initiative and the commision is just now getting around to doing something legal about it..IM PISSED!

@irishearthangel What commission are you talking about? Did you donate to some commission or something? Can you provide a link to the relevant information so I can read about it? What is your source for this information?

He did put forward an initiative to get a new investigation into 9/11 on the ballot at the state level, so that the people can vote on it. I would hardly call that useless.

@WhatsReallyGoingOnUS google 911 citizens commision campagin. or 911.cc.org. Gravel was accepting quite a lot of donations to reopen investigations. Donors just recieved a mass email that Gravel took the money and apparently moved it from 811 to a new initiative called "National Initiative for Democracy." You can contact the org if your so interested. Im disgusted and feel like a chump for donating to what seemed to be a legit cause. I tried to send you the email but ur messages are blocked

@irishearthangel I don't know anything about the relationship between 9-11cc.org and Gravel. But one has to ask why would Gravel be given SOLE control over the funds, if it was a citizens group? Simply put, it wasn't.

Gravel's NI4D is what he sees is the solution to getting a new investigation. He's been saying this a long time. NI4D will allow The People of each of the States to vote directly on whether we have a new investigation.

He's a really good speaker.

Definitely interesting to hear Mike Gravel speak. He certainly seems to be a person of courage, for someone who's a former Senator and ran for the US presidency in 2008 ; plus the rest of his history related to politics. With his insider knowledge of US politics, he must not have many friends among political elites in the US when he speaks out about and quite against the political system in or of the US the way he does.

If he suffers from dyslexia, then what's ailing most of Congress ?
