New demos are launching and they're giving away some cool in game add ons!

Hey Gamers, Joshua Evan Ovenshire here filling in for Andrea Rene while she takes on CES. Looks like 2 of EA's big hitters are releasing demos this month and just by playing them you can unlock in game add ons.

.

First up we have Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning which launches it's demo on January 17th. If you take on this download, you'll actually unlock some in game goodies for Mass Effect 3 which is set for launch on March 6th. You'll be able to snag the Reckoner Knight Armor for Commander Shepard along with the Chakram Launcher with Explosive ammo . DAMN! I can't wait for this game.

Then flipping the tables around, if you play the Mass Effect 3 demo which is suppose to be ready to play sometime this month, you'll get a piece of armor and a weapon for Reckoning. Kingdom of Amalur hits stores on Feburary 7th here in North America and three days later in Europe. I actually just realized that Todd Macfarlen is doing the artwork for this game, and that has me pretty excited for the demo...well, and my Mass Effect gear. Duh.

I'm hoping that the mass effect add ons helps bring some more attention towards Kingdom of Amalur, Looks like it's going to be a good hit. @1994dannyG No sorry,I have tried it on two xboxes mine and my friends it doesn't ask you to log into an EA account and you don't get any notification saying you have unlocked any armour,so once again we pay more,wait longer and get less than our American friends.

Well I played both demos and didn't unlock anything so it looks like I live in the wrong country,also I just bought Kingdoms of amalur and inside there's a DLC code that's supposed to give your Armour for the game,but you get nothing,video's like this annoy me,because it should say you only get these things if you live in America.

Just pre-ordered Mass Effect 3. Also got the Reckoning armor. Not going to use the helmet because I want to see the character I create

LOL when i played the demo of kingdoms of amalure it notifie me that i will have available the shotgun and the armor once i purch mass effect 3

@LoLCATLoLZ Well I don't know where in the world you live,but I have tried it and so has a friend and neither of us got a notification like the video shows for this content maybe it only shows once your purchase the full game or Mass effect 3.

Those outside North America will be disappointed because the armour isn't available in Britain so probably won't be available anywhere else.

I got the mass effect 3 stuff by accident. I downloaded the demo because I thought it looked cool and then even happier when it said I unlocked stuff for mass effect 3
