Hi everyone! Here is something inspired by riding habits in the 19th century. Part three- sheer fabrics and chiffon.

To see how to render other fabrics go to:

Satin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQJXlcghPIw

Velvet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRMCZyqAS1I

Let me make it clear before somebody accuses me once again in copying other people's designs. I am not a fashion designer- I am an architect with a passion for drawing. Yes, all designs are either my interpretations of costumes from movies or were worn by celebrities on the red carpet .
I repeat, I am here not to show you my own ideas or to teach you how to DESIGN. The only thing I could show you is my drawing technique and how do I present fabrics, figures or colors in illustrations.

  • Are you doing it on tracing paper? (: Cool.

  • @TheRumaizah Not this one. My tutorial on Alex McQueen's dress is pastel pencils on tracing paper and my tut on Satin is ink on tracing paper

  • hello what watercolours do you use , please can you recommend?

  • @fashionbutterfly100 My watercolors are by Winsor & Newton, not a pro grade watercolor set, but the brand is of good quality.W&N's top quality watercolor paints are branded simply "Artist's Water Colour" while their student's brand is branded "Cotman". Another good brand are Schmincke, Daler Rowney and M. Graham. No matter which brand you choose, if you're very serious about your watercolor,I recommend to buy watercolor paints in tubes as you have more control over the intensity of the color

  • You are my inspiration. All my life I wanted to draw fashion sketches but never did becasue I thought it's impossible to do that without special education. But when I saw your tutorials I started to draw I now I know that everything is possible. I'm so grateful for you:)))

  • @Inguteliute That's so great! Comments like this one are making my day ! :)))

i hate how people keep commenting on what paint you use and stuff like that, why can't they comment on praising you for your god gifted talents! what you do is beautiful and i hope to paint like you someday! you're truly god gifted! by the way im not saying they shouldn't ask you about those things but atleast say its amazing!

  • the firstt is sooo AWSOOMME ...!!! ... the second one .. is okay too .. but it looked really cool while you were painting them .. i luv drawing fashion .. i do it almost everyday .. even though im a still beginner , i have no idea how to paint them to look artistic and watching this it seems easier now... i kinda get it now i think .. and are W&N paints good for painting illustrations ??

  • uhm, i also draw fashion clothes with human body (aw usual) :)).. and i would like it if u would give me some suggestions.. :]

  • u r so good at drawing! me jelly. i cant even draw the body.

  • wow your drawings are amazing!

  • You're using special paper for watercolor or simple paper for printing?
