i met someone online over a year ago!,was ok at first he said he wern't a liar or a cheat n blah blah saying i was the only woman he spoke too!,giving me all the i love u crap,but ended up where he was lying! he was on other sites,flirting with alot of women,tagged bearshare,sodahead,,.. he said he didnt tell them he had a gf cos he didn't want em knowing his private business!...wtf?.if that's wot u call internet love then it can kiss my arse.

I once had some of those experiences myself. These days, I keep a hidden profile on Match.com so I can occasionally browse the new people in the area and remember why I'll never look for a date on the internet again. Typical profile: Divorced with kids, makes typical salary, looking for guy with 2X+ the salary and willing to raise her kids, overweight, average or below looks.

What the internet is good for is to research places to meet people. Older people rarely use the internet for dating.
