This is an update of video I made for the Rich Mullins song from his second album, Pictures in the Sky. I made the original video for my broadcasting class at Wright State University in 2007. I made the update in 2011... just because I got tired of looking at some of my sloppier edits on the previous version.
Richard Wayne Mullins was a contemporary Christian composer who had written songs for artists such as Amy Grant before recording his own albums. His most famous songs include "Awesome God" and "Step by Step." He attended Cincinnati Bible College (now Cincinnati Christian University) and Friends University where he met James Bryan Smith who became his biographer. He helped to champion Compassion International's USA ministry, specifically with regard to Native American children living on reservations. He died in September of 1997 in an auto accident that placed his passenger, indy Christian singer Mitch McVicker, in a coma. McVicker did recover but still has double vision as a result of the accident.
This is a lesser known song of Mullins' and I thought it was on par with the quality (or even better than) some of his more well known songs. I uploaded it here on youtube hoping to get some more notariety for the song.
The Mullins family has decided to keep Rich's ministry alive in the form of a non-profit organization to help at risk children. The ministry is known as The Legacy Of A Kid Brother Of St. Frank (which refers to Mullins' hero, St. Francis) and their website can be found here:

A movie based on Rich's life is in the works by director David Schultz with Rich's brother David on board as a producer. For more info, visit the URL below:
