dogs are often described as mans best friend & they have been used by the military for centuries for everything from sentry duty to detecting explosives. their loyalty is unquestionable & they are just as reliable as our most dedecated soldier's. A SPECIAL THANK YOU GOES OUT TO LANCE CORPORAL LIAM TASKER & HIS SPRINGER CROSS THEO WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES PROTECTING OUR TROOPS AND INNOCENT CIVILIANS IN AFGHANISTAN, THEY DIED AS TRUE HEROES, MAY THEY REST IN PEACE

So So true...
I love my 7 German Shepherds. They are the smartest of God's creatures. I have made it a "must" to start a GSD rescue this year. I have already rescued at least 20 and I am appalled that a person can raise one of these intelligent, loving, and loyal companions and not even try to find them if they get out of their home and end up in the kill shelter. For the price of a couple of steak house dinners you can save and adopt one of these magnificent souls from the animal shelters.
