This video series chronicles Bill & Sandy Stine's six-month long, 2003, US camping tour.
"Our Camper" summarizes the attributes of our Aliner hard-sided pop-up camper and details some of the custom modifications we made to it. The Aliner is manufactured by Columbia Northwest Inc, 1297 Kecksburg Rd, Mount Pleasant, PA. A similar camper, the Chalet, is manufactured by Chalet RV Inc, 124 41st Ave SE, Albany, OR. We chose the design because it was lightweight and simple and fast to set up and fold down. I found our used camper listed on e-Bay. For us, the trip was not about the camper and we spent few of our waking hours inside it. We liked that it was not a motor home so we could do day trips in the car without having to break camp.
We pulled our hard-sided, Aliner-brand pop-up camper, that we call our "Tin Tent", on a 180-day, 100-campground tour of many of the national parks across the US.
The entire 15-video series, while briefly describing the camper in chapter 2, is mainly about the places we visited and the things we did. Our full daily activity log with additional photos can be found under the "Tin Tent Tour" link on our home page at http://weewillystine.net.
All the photos were taken by a humble little Canon PowerShot S410 Digital Elph. Photos were edited using PaintShop Pro 7. Audio was recorded and edited using Roxio Sound Editor and the video was assembled in 9:16, 720p, using Roxio VideoWave 10.
