JC CHAPTER TWENTY ONE SUMMARY

On the 9th of December 2001, the Connelly Family of Ottawa were given the worst possible news. Their 22 year old son John, a third year pharmacy student at the University of Toronto was dead.

Getting the Metropolitan Toronto Police Services off the hook was the written objective of the supervising coroner, Dr. David Evans and Police Chief Julian Fantino who refused to implement the recommendation of a government report which stated:

Re-open the investigation and assign it to the Homicide Unit.

When evidence surrounding their sons death was continually compromised the dilemma for the Connelly Family was:
