  • @TheAlysheba yeah you're right, I think these troubled kids have just not been brought up proper and been taught right or wrong. Hooliganism runs in their family but then there are those who came from a hooligan family and they become something like a businessman or doctor.

I don't think violence is the answer to everything and I don't think revenge is justice it's only about self gratification. The only time I think when violence was needed was in World War II.

  • More violence leads to...more violence... It has to end somewhere.. If this had happened to a dear friend of mine, I would initially seek immediate revenge. Now, as a former "peace and love" kinda girl, raised in the 70's, I have learned that peace of mind isn't found through hate.

I feel Sophie's memory would be served well by showing younger kids..troubled kids.. that hate crimes do nothing. You hurt EVERYONE, those that don't even cross the mind. You grow up with nothing but hatred.

  • @GertrudeOgilthorp8 yeah it must be terrifying indeed

  • @JReed1985 Yes, I wonder how it feels knowing the world's Goths are after you.

  • out there who willing be taking another look at how they are raising their children.Lord knows as my own children grow I will keep a closer eye on who their friends are.

  • they were feeding of each other:sad thing is if just 1 of those boys had the balls to say stop they would have.I feel so bad for their families I can only imagine the horror of finding out your child killed someone for no other reason then they were just trying to act bad ass in front of their friends. The guilt in knowing that you still have your child here, and nothing you can to sophies parents that will bring their daughter back.Rest in piece sophie knowing that there are mothers and fathers.

  • This is why the world has become so horrible. I don't see how wearing something different to another person changes how they should be respected...

At the end of the day, everyone has a heart, a soul and a brain.

I don't see why its Goth's/Emo's/Punk's etc that have to take it either.

If in the 70's and 80's that "wave(eh, lack of better word) of music hadn't happened, I'm sure the music scene would have been entirely different and most of the stuff people listen to wouldn't even exist...

  • It is pathetic how some humans are. They do not accept others for who they are and yet they demand everyone understand them. It is wrong to take it upon one's self to dictate what another is supposed to be. This is why a tyrants fall. This is why god made us different, so that we may be a colorful society. Rest assured, karma doesn't miss anything.

  • @scumgod13 Really? my cousin is an Old School Punk too, she had a lot of hassle but never gave up on who she was.

Killing someone for who they are is just plain Nazism, when those scum get out of jail I'd like to carve a swastika in their forehead like in Inglourious Basterds.

  • @JReed1985 I'll give them a face lift...With my Combat Boots-I'm not even a Goth I'm an Old School punk but that shits just wrong.KILLING someone because of what they wear or the music they listen to?Pure ignorance. We had to fight a lot in the 90s being Punks, to the point we stayed armed and traveled in groups.I always had a smiley and a Knife.still carry a knife out of habit.
