A student accomodation block next to my workplace is being munched apart by a robot dinosaur.
Watching it crush the concrete and rip the steel rods out like string, reminded me of the systematic destruction of our society by unfathomably powerful forces, using fear to crush our resistance and shred our nerves.
ps, I had many a passionate night with a beautiful girl in that 'halls of residence' twenty years ago, sixth floor, fourth room from the end. We'd be kissing in mid-air now.
So, that robot dinosaur is tearing down my past with that masonry; but hey, I still have a record of it in my fantastic terra-byte hard drive, called my memories.

Odd way to look at it. As far as I know, it could've been a condemned building too dangerous to live in. As it is, it isn't the prettiest thing to look at.
