David Holm Freestyle Rap - Camp Talent Show

My freestyle rap at the Camp Christian Wilmington Conference talent show 2010!

So i relistened to this over and over a couple times and got all the lyrics here:

I got a hoody on my back, and Nikes on my feet.
Now I'm standin on stage, just rappin to this beat.
My name is David Holm, and I'm 16 years old.
At times I can be shy but at times I will be bold.
Freestylin at the talent show, dear God give me help.
I'm gonna get up here and make a fre-(fool!) of myself.
Now my rappin aint great but hey I'm pretty good.
And I'm from Beavercreek not straight out the hood.
Oh goodness, the rhymes are hard to find.
So every single time, its a struggle to finish the line.
But hey its okay, I've got God on my side.
So now I'll rap about the place where we currently reside.
Here at Camp Christian is where I call my home.
I can be with friends and God and not feel so alone.
We gotta lake full of muck, and a pool full of yuck,
And when I saw those I was like what the.....CHUCK Bentley
Is about the coolest old man,
He's 84 years old but still strong he stands
The weather outside at night has been a fright.
We got thunderstorms scattering, lightning shattering
Rain battering, man why is this happening.
Skipball is the best game of the week.
And the counselors have shown they still can't be beat.
But for one shinin moment when my ball went flyin,
We celebrated in a circle as we took down Goliath.
Now I'm proud to be a member of Cabin Number 1
With the sexy Brian Saxe and Allen Dicken
I'm sustaining friendships from the past, making new ones that'll last
And every single year at camp its a blast.
For five years Corey Roe has bunked above me.
And everytime I get a hug, I feel you love me.
Jacob Vangen you're a really awesome dude
And Shekler your crazy and funny like Looney Toons
Tim Green, I'm so glad that you are my Boy-Co
Wilmington is better than Hiram, Lakeside, or Cryo
Maggie Eakins I'm so glad I had a class with you.
And Denzel Poole, you are just so dang cute.
Devin and Cevion are good at basketball.
Like that guy from Kentucky named umm...John Wall
One day they'll be dunkin on some dude's face.
Like Lebron on KG in 2008.
Every Wednesday night, we keep the dance rockin.
And me and Bailey Davis have so much in common.
Grace Overturf, you're a really sweet girl.
And Maddie McGarvey, you're kind of beautiful... ;)
This place grants my wishes, the food is delicious
But don't do something stupid or you will get dishes
If you're on the mic don't say the A-word
Or the whole camp will sing a song that is absurd.
Woody takes pictures, Squid drinks out of pitchers
And we have the best camp director named Brenda Webster.
The hoedowns energetic, it raises up my heart beat.
And too bad camp overlapped with Shark Week.
SHARK WEEK! Yeah I hoped you'd all say that.
Come Saturday, I'll be cryin so bad.
Theres so many things to do here at camp.
You have pool, basketball, ping-pong, or Latin Dance.
Now I could name every friend or activity.
But to do that I'd need a billion words plus infinity.
So now I'll just take a very random pause
And then put down Shekler's mic and absorb my applause...
