What about the 1992 Williams, the 2005 McLaren, and the 2010 Red Bull?
-
ferrari f2004??

@chrismarkbicknell I agree with you. And I miss the 1986-87 Williams as well.
-
Pretty good. The only 1 I would change would be the 93 Williams. That would be replaced by Mansells 92 car. Other than that it was spot on.

Why wasn't Williams 1986/87 in your list of Formula 1 best cars?

@TeacherWanderson good point... I should include it.

Oh, and the 1969 Matra-Ford MS80 made Jackie Stewart dominate all the opposition that year. He led every single race that year at some point. The 1969 Matra made the opposition look as if they were standing still.
Lotus 49 was definitely a very fast car in 1967 and 1968. The first to use the engine as a stressed member of the chassis, something which all other use today.
Red Bull RB5 from 2010?

@McLarenMercedes Which Lotus was the first F1 car made as "monocoque"? I guess was one of them.
The RB5 should appear in a future (improved) ranking.

@MSx91
Lotus 25 was the first monocoque.Although monocoque design was already used in aircraft, Colin Chapman was the first to introduce it to cars.The Lotus 25 was lowslung (Jim Clark almost lied down compared to the formerly upright position of the past), light, very rigid, and slim
An engine problem robbed Clark of the 1962 title in the last race, a few laps from the flag.
In 1963 Clark dominated in a way no other driver has ever dominated. Led 506 out of 708 laps, 71,5%. Still the record
