In my second video-documented go at making edible glowing pastries, I made a brownie glow from a color-changing LED stuck in the center. The LED was powered from traces of edible silver foil, which served as wires that then connected to a battery pack. The edible silver foil was incredibly thin and would peel back if you moved your arm near it. It also stuck to objects easily, particularly metal objects. Hence cutting it with scissors was a disaster, as was shearing it with the edge of a fork. The silver tended to remain on metal objects from the static, so I turned to using wooden chopsticks and my finger tips to tear and move pieces of silver foil.
