Ik Hou Van Jou - Dave Williams

This is my attempt at singing the original Dutch lyric version of "In Love With You".

As was kindly pointed out to me recently by YouTube member hansbaz , the song was the Dutch entry in the 1984 Eurovision song contest, written by Peter van Asten and Richard Debois. It was performed by Marribelle. It gained 34 points, and reached 13th place.

My version is also sung in the Dutch language, but there are English sub-titles, based on a "literal" translation, to help you through it!!

As is often the case with translations, the lyrics are a little different from the "official" English version. It's extremely difficult to take a song in one language, and make it fit exactly in another.
