Great Memories of the late 60s and early 70s when I used to read The Famous Five books. I loved them so much that when my Gran came to switch my bedroom light off, I used to use my torch under the blanket to carry on reading my books. I never saw any TV series of them, they were not broadcasted in SA.

My brother's name is Timmy, and to this day, even though he's now in his twenties, we still piss him off by singing "...Timmy the do- oo- oo-og"!

I prefferred Anne myself (I like my women to be girly) but you were not alone, lots of guys in my school had similiar 'awakenings' with George. Dunno though....given her tomboy behaviour, I'm not sure any of you would have had much chance with her!
