Brilliant video. Endless possibilities. Once you've exhausted all the Adobe Logos you can always change the colors, and your little logo will look oh so unique. Lol :P

WHAT?!!! You just go in the logos folder in symbols? All this time, I have actually been sketching and revising when all I had to do was go into the logos folder. How could I have been so stupid ? The time I spent learning the pen tool and taming the bezier curve is a testimony to my naivete. Why was I even playing with that pathfinder tool? I know better now.....

This shows you how to work with stock images, not how to 'create' a logo. Im not bagging on the bro in the video, just trying to dissuade the persons thinking its that easy to be a graphic designer. Creative design is much more tedious, sometimes riquiring 2-3 or even 4 programs running simultaneously (i.e. lightroom, CS5, Illustrator, Bridge, etc.) Just Sayin.
This video (no matter how well intended), makes what we do look simplistic, and gives clients the entirely wrong impression. It can sometimes take days, weeks, or even months to develop a good logo, because logos are one of the most difficult graphic design jobs, period. This is like showing a canvas and brush, and smearing a couple of blobs paint on the canvas and saying "that's how to oil paint." You have shown some basic tools, but this is not the logo design process.

As I was watching this, I kept waiting for Ashton Kutcher to appear and tell me I was being punk'd.
