NBC cancels HEROES! The popular science-fiction / super hero drama series!

Yup, this news is true. NBC confirmed that they will axe the popular drama series, HEROES due the sluggish viewership in recent years. You will not be able to see it in season 5. No more Sylar, Hiro Nakamura on your tv screen.
Viewer rating for HEROES has been dropping all these years. From the high of 14.5 million average viewers to todays 6 and 4.4 million viewers, no wonder NBC decided to take this drastic move to remover or cancel the popular primetime drama series.

The sluggish viewership is contributed by the fact that poorly planned script and lack of continuity in the dramas story line where viewers often been confused with characters being killed off and reinstated no continuation in narrative thread and no continuation. In short, the story line is in a mess!
Nevertheless, we as an audience we still recall the glory days of HEROES, in its maiden seasonthe thrill and excitementthe number of awards and nominations they garnered, including Primetime Emmy awards, Golden Globes, Peoples Choice Awards and British Academy Television Awards

I think the networks need to reconstruct their method of deciding if a show is viable. In this day and age of recording with DVR and streaming I never watch shows when they originally aired. I have not watched "live" tv since my daughter was born 3 years ago. I recently found the Heroes series through Netflix and was utterly crushed when the story ended without notice with season 4! I would LOVE to know what happens to Peter, Claire, Sylar, HIro and even Bennett. Please, keep the story alive!

I've been watching heroes from season 1 I've seen every episode I think and I have to say it is a brilliant show and NBC fcancelling it I live in the UK and ever1 my friends family loved it and so what if season 3 and 4 weren't as great as 1 and 2 it was still awesome obviously I'm pissed of I mean atleast finish it cuz the last episode BRAVE NEW WORLD left us on a massive cliff hanger and I didn't know if hiro would die him and ando where my fav characters they were funny cool

No. It was so-so after a GREAT first season. 2nd was good. The rest was a slow warm gross slide into the toilet. The most positive thing about Heroes after season 2? It's gone.

yes from season 3ish to season 4 it was not as impressive as 1 and 2 but it was still amazing how the producer kept it going. Even though there were a few confusing moments that wasn't very clear to viewers, it was a spectacular show. the ending of season 4 was, in my opinion, interesting. a bit annoyed that they didn't show what happened to hiro, ando, peters mother etc... but all things considered, they did a hell of a job coming this far! oh and i want NBC to bring back heroes :P HEROES FTW!!
