But in waiting for what seems to be inedible you must acquire key targets. Historically speaking the corrupt will stop at nothing to secure their power. They have shown they are complete sociopaths and the deaths of citizens and armed enforcers that never question authority mean nothing to them. I didn't really see Bioshock Infinite as attacking our founders, but attacking the idea of religious extremism and the problems inherent in Hero worship, and how leaders will use people we idolize to deceive and manipulate us.

One clear way this was show was the depiction of the Founders in the game. They were used to justify rampant militarization, placing the main villain in an Autocratic position, and to combine church and state to help justify the power grab. An anathema to the actual men.
