Thanks for the video man. It's really motivational to see that you're pushing on. I go in tomorrow and am hoping to recover quickly. Hopefully your recovery is going well. Best of luck to you.
super rare to find people to relate to this injury. I tore my right pectoralis major pretty good although the doctor said I didnt need surgery. Its been about a yr now and it seems that I still have common function of the muscle but the doctor said I will always have a defect. feels really weird on the bench/push-up but Im still capable of doing it, just lossed a ton of strength. good video man hope to see more about your recover!
Aww man, I'm sorry to hear that. Don't worry about the videos. Just take care of yourself and heal up. It's more important that you rest and recover now, so you can get back to doing what you love doing later. Don't rush your body and don't give up. "All things are possible for those who believe..." Sorry to hear your story but you have the right attitude to come through this and out the other side as good as new.
Make sure you do exactly what the therapist tells you. No more and no less.
I'm just dealing with a torn ligament in my shoulder and it is hard not to think that doing more of the exercises will fix it faster. But it doesn't work like that.
Stay positive. Wish you good luck and good healing.
I know how you must be feeling now, I know firsthand how annyoying things like that are.
Be careful and take time for full recovery :)
When you start lifting again, you should forget benching for a good while and try cable exercises for your pecs. They can be very effective but are less stressing.
Just take care of that injury and you'll be back 100%. Don't get discouraged, it'll just take some time. The main thing is that your muscles heal properly.
