VCU International Students and Student Organizations

VCU embraces diversity---in our students, academic programs and, most importantly, in our thinking. When we ask students why they chose VCU, our diversity is often cited as the number one reason. Our international students represent over 110 countries, and the university has forged strong partnerships with fourteen International Partnership Universities, including VCU School of the Arts in Qatar, strategically located in countries around the world. Along with enriching the campus experience right here in Richmond, these partnerships provide VCU Faculty and students the opportunity for involvement and collaboration in an international and multicultural arena.

Virginia Commonwealth University and NBC-12 teamed up to create the series called "It's VCU" to showcase this urban university, located in the heart of Richmond. VCUs diverse students, faculty and programs, superior teaching, steady growth and groundbreaking research are shaping Richmond, the state and the region.
