Butterfly #2412 Brass Pressure Stove Video.MOV

Butterfly brand Brass Kerosene pressure stove. Demonstrated by St. Paul Mercantile. We import these directly from the manufacturer in Indonesia and sell them at www.StPaulMercantile.com as well as www.KeroStove.com The stove is virtually 100% efficient because it vaporizes the kerosene and then burns the vapor. It can be completely disassembled and carried in a backpack. Heat output is about 7000 btus. The stove includes a #1 "roarer" burner, plus a wrench and three nozzle cleaning picks.

Normally, the flame is blue. I didn't have any kerosene, so I used fuel oil. I need to reshoot the video using the proper fuel.

I've never heard of one of these, or any of the other brands of similar design, ever exploding.

To extinguish the flame, you simply turn the pressure release screw. That stops the flow of fuel and the flame goes out a few seconds later.

@Ebiczebulanious lamp oil, K1 Kerosene and paraffin is normally all the same thing.

it looks very nice, but i have to ask, why is it burning with an orange flame, when most of the other versions burn with a roaring blue flame? just not enough pressure?
