The 5 basic Prout Tenets:

1. Minimum requirements for a dignifying human life must be guaranteed:
Food, education, shelter, clothes and medical care.
2. Put a ceiling on wealth accumulations by any individual
3. The gap between rich and poor must not increase beyond a collectively agreed and established standard
4. Stop the destruction of natural resources NOW! Stop the destruction of the seas and oceans NOW! Stop cruelty to animals and forests NOW! Then we talk about how to work things out.
5. Use all the natural resources and all human potential for the well being of the entire humanity and all of creation.
