@Maguirearch there is great music today listen to Jo Wylie on BB2 rdaio 2 and you will hear some crackin' stuff...the charts nowadays are meaningless because of freee downlading and stuff like U tube....lets face it

@historychick123 Thats not true we all get nostalgic because of our childhood or teenage yrs....there has been good music always...it's just you dont hear all of it at a particular time to appreciate wot is out there.....like Robert Johnson in the 30s or J S Bach in the 1600s....( J S Bach has been ripped off by more folk including Jem the welsh one hit wonder who had a hit called JEM a rip off of a Bach piano piece)

@83Brokenwings There is good music out there it is just that u dont have to pay for music anymore it is all downloadable for free......only the weak minded misled buy music as essentially they are a bit backward..so teh music in teh charts has gone down in quality since you had to buy it in the shops...or tape it from yer mates at work or school

I have tears in my eyes listening to when music was good. I feel sad hearing what kids listen to now.....i feel sorry for them, it's horrible, all this rap thuggery etc....

The 80s was the best time ever for music, especially out of England, and being stuck in the wild west of Australia all thru them, tho I was English born, I've never seen these Top Of The Pops vids. Thanks so much! Midge Ure will always be my hero, no matter how bald he gets!
