  • The health problems that occur in a magnetic shift would most likely help the growth of our massive population wouldn't it? Anyways i completely agree with what you said. do you think that medical science could possibly have a cure to cancer by than?

  • curing cancer is a rather hard thing to do. But medical science is pretty impressive. I'd have to see how medical science progresses in the next few years

  • Um... excuse me... the Sun is not going to go supernova. Ever. Sol (The Sun) is simply too small to go supernova. No, Sol will simply become a red giant and then a red dwarf. Yes, Earth will burn, but not like you believe.

  • you're right. I fucked up

  • According to Gerald O'Neil converting the asteroid belt to O'Neil cylinders would, at current/1970's growth rates, buy us about 400 yrs before needing to disintegrate other planets then Earth. Exponential grow wouldn't take longer 2 do that. A better solution is a world population more or less naturally stable due to the already low birthrates of modernized countries plus access to safe inexpensive easily reversible by pill sterilization pills we should easily have by the time we cure aging.

  • nasa enof with the cover ups

  • @Drmofothegreat thats what ive been trying to say

  • @martelly55

actually with recent developments in rockets a company has developed a rocket that could get us to mars in about a month and a half. hasn't been used in space applications yet, but it or a future model of it may, though i think the best application for it would be transporting raw supplies from the asteroidbelt to colonies under development.

  • i don't even think we need a space elevator to build space colonies we could just mine asteroid belts for all the material we need. the skyhook/space elevator is just to make it easier and cheaper to get there. i'd think starting on colonies before an elevator would wind up cheaper because we don't really need to send much more then mining equipment, the cost of an elevator would just be so huge. an elevator would be better once we have the habitats to send people to. as been said, no supernova.

  • lol r u kidding it will take a decade, to get to mares now a days is two weeks with nuclear fuel

  • you're damn right we need to get off this planet. why isn't this a huge priority for mankind. let's get over or differences and work together to ensure the future of our species.

  • lol great vid!!!
