@Malunat13 Yes, and that was the longest, hardest part of the entire day. That road is a mess. Two years later we went up again, with a 4WD vehicle, and it was in even worse shape. That little Sebring wouldn't have made it up there that time.

Good vid. We just got back 2 weeks ago. We got a flat 3 miles from the trail head so that added some distance to our hike. We hiked down to Jasper Lake and spent the night and hiked past Devils Thumb on our way back. Awesome. By the way that was a marmot not a marmocet. Marmocet is a little monkey.

Ummm the devils thumb is on the British Columbia Alaska border so good luck going to Colorado...
At least this is the one that John Krakauer climbs in Eiger Dreams, on of his books
