@foilfencer3 Pretty much this is a standard format for writing a lab report in science. Now, your teacher may add his or her own requirements.

can you give me some advice on how to write an introduction to a lab report i doing one for my online classes and i am confused. this is the only thing i am confused about it science right now. please reply.

The introduction should contain the summary of your experiment. I find this easiest to write after I have finished the other parts of the report. Think of the introduction like the synopsis that u read at the back of a pocketbook to find out whether or not u want to read it. That is the purpose of the introduction. It gives the reader (in this case, ur teacher) an idea of what ur experiment is about, the background research that u did, ur hypothesis, and how u plan to test ur hypothesis.
