Being right, and being self-righteous aren't mutually exclusive. It's not his political views that are self-righteous, it's the way he conveys them. He's more concerned with insulting people while claiming to have the moral high ground, than he is about changing people's minds.
You shouldn't assume that you know or understand my political views. If you're going start a discussion by condemning someone based purely on assumptions, then what's the point of having one at all.

Spot on analysis. Liberalism, at the end of the day, is essentially a deluded believe in utopianism. They think they can administrate societies in a near perfect manner if they only had enough resources (money); if those darn Republicans would just give in; if they could only tax the rich according to "their fair share" (Marxist class warfare). You see this same type of twisted thinking with Obama. Notice how he's always talking about the future? And if we only would listen to him...right.
