Just a short video of how to get in and out of DFU mode. I know that a lot of people try to jailbreak their iDevice and fail, and then are left with an ipad, ipod touch etc. in DFU mode. Do not go surfing the internet to find a software that claims that it will get your device out of DFU Mode.
How to get into DFU Mode
1) Plug your device into your computer via usb cable, and that you have itunes pulled up on your computer. Then power off your device.
2) When your device is completely off, hold the power button untill the Apple logo apears.
3) While the apple logo is on the screen, hold the home and power button simultaneously untill the apple logo disapears.
4) With the apple logo gone and your screen completely black, release the power button, but keep your finger on the home button untill you get the message on itune that tells you that your device is in "recovery mode".
How to get out of DFU Mode
Only one step to this part. While in DFU Mode, hold the home and power button simultaneously untill the Apple logo apears. You are now out of DFU Mode w/o and apps gone and all info still there.
