This reminds me of my brother. He even looked like the singer. He had cancer and him and his wife lived with me and my hubby. She abused him the whole time he was here. She even punched him in the face, the only good that came from her was she gave him a son. He looks just like his daddy. My brother died 2 months after his sons birth and he forever lives on through his son. I listen to this knowing that my brother no longer suffers from the chains of his wife and he's free to watch over us. <3

I was in an abusive relationship, I almost listened to this song every other day. Verbal, physically. You name it, it was rather bad. But, for some reason I couldn't leave for the longest time. After a while; I figured that she had cheated on me. I kept it in for about a week before I finally exploded. Oh, keep in mind. I am male; Males can be in abusive relationships too.
