mine likes to move on every stage i guess I first got it in pupa and it sure moves alot

It is not a good sign if a pupa moves a lot. Mine was being attacked from below and, in fact, it never managed it to the adult stage, unfortunately.

Well, it comes in the books that the pupal stage is a resting one. Is your pupa still in its protective case? Which species, please?

I have never, never touched it...don't dare to! The pupal stage is very, very vulnerable. In the wild the pupa is nicely protected inside a cocoon.
