@MrTricksterrr true, but after the Hound which was before the final problem according to Watsons notes Holmes comes back with the reason that he actually survived the final problem, BUT Moriarty not. And Moffat and CO. won't change that fact, I'm sure.

Don't be afraid, there are a lot of other opponents for Sherlock.

@Kamekaioken It has been announced that Moriarty is alive. He just couldn't die! He is the main antagonist. And, according to final problem, Sherlock has also died, but Conan-Doyle has been forced to 'ressurect' him because of all protests collapsed on him by worshipers and even the Queen.
