The Chimes - (flute, clarinet, two violin, viola, cello) UPDATE WITH ANNOTATIONS

So I changed a few things and I got much farther!

I have also been working on a bunch of other pieces... but I'll keep them a surprise :P. Btw, my piano and flute piece I posted a WHILE back is finally done. It's about five minutes and thirty seconds.

Sorry about the inactivity.. school is stressful and time is hard to find. I am also at lack of inspiration.

Use FL Studio or something. Get a real orchestra pack. These midi synths don't do your composition any justice. :D

The transition at 1:03 and later at 3:30 could be a little smoother, but overall it's great; I love the key changes.

(Can definitely hear the good old Final Fantasy influence at 1:48 - 2:00 )

I think I already said this about this piece in some location at some time.. but I'll say it again. This piece (intro especially) makes me think of the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. As it gets a little more built up and you hear that iv/VI (which is it by the way?) it sounds like something different is happening. Then once it's back down it reminds me of a nice outset/intro/opening theme. And that descending chromatic at the end... Dragon Quest.
