This is a movie of a short walk though of the grounds of the thai temple in the sea at Wat Khun Samut Chin. This is a temple that was once 2 km from the sea. Now it is 400 meters outside on a very marginal mangrove island.

Most of the temple is built on 2 to 3 meter high platforms. The sea does at times fill the whole area with water.

This area is often considered as an example of climate change but its really more really bad coastal erosion and land sinkage.

The old build was the main hall of the temple today its sunk into the mud and it gets flooded by the sea at high tide.
