Der riese: The Maxis Family Bios

Life of Dr. L. Maxis:

Doctor Maxis worked with his assistant, Edward Richtofen at the Der Riese facility near Breslau. He worked on creating Zombies and Teleportation Devices. His assistant helped him with this and created weapons Wunderwaffe DG-2. It is possible that Maxis was in charge of the whole operation, but it is otherwise unknown who actually was. One of the things Maxis would do was to perform experiments and tests, though many of these failed.

As first mentioned in a radio message in Shi No Numa, an American refers to him as "Doctor Max".

Death:

Doctor Maxis was working on an experiment that involved his daughter's dog called Fluffy. He attempted to teleport Fluffy, but when she did, the plan failed. Fluffy was teleported, but not to the mainframe. She teleported back inside the Teleporter from an electrical force, most probably the ball of electricity players see Hellhounds spawn from. Maxis demanded the door to be opened, but Edward advised him not to. When they opened the door, Fluffy had transformed into a Hellhound. Samantha came running through, asking her daddy what he had done with her dog. The Hellhound began to try and attack, and began to destroy the room. This caused chaos, and as Maxis tried to calm his daughter down. Edward exited and locked the door. Maxis told him to open it, but Edward disobeyed him, and it is presumed he and Samantha were killed. Further evidence suggesting he is dead are some of Richtofen's quotes such as "Maxis would've been proud" and "I wish Doctor Maxis were here to see this."

In the left hallway of Der Riese, there are pictures of Zombies, Hellhounds, and a blackboard. There is writing on it saying "levels 5-8 must survive." One of these levels is when Hellhounds first appear, suggesting that it is referring to them. Also, "Edward, I know it was you" is also written on it. This could have been written by Maxis or maybe by the ghost of Samantha. This suggests that Edward had always planned to set the Zombies loose, instead of just testing on them.


Samantha:

Samantha Maxis is a character from Der rise. She is the only child in the game. She is heard in two radio messages on Der Riese and is the daughter of Doctor Maxis. By the sound of the message, Samantha, along with her father, is killed by an escaping Hellhound formerly Samantha's pet dog Fluffy.
It is possible that Samantha is in some way connected to the child-like voices heard throughout the Nazi Zombies series. If she was killed by the hellhounds, then it could be possible she haunts the factory, which could explain the Fly Trap. In Shi No Numa and Der Riese, sometimes you can hear the zombies say "Sam". This may be a reference to Samantha and her death. The teddy bear that shows up in boxes was her's so as the monkey bomb and there is some evidence of Edward Richtofen giving her the teddy bear because of Richtofen's bio.

Fluffy:

Fluffy has very brief mentions in the Nazi Zombie game mode. Fluffy the dog had belonged to Samantha, the daughter of Dr. Maxis and is found mentioned on Der Riese by two of the radios. One radio broadcast hears Dr. Maxis giving Fluffy to Samantha he tells her that she is pregnant and is expecting puppies, Samantha asks if she can keep one, Dr. Maxis says that it will be taken one step at a time. The plan seems to fall to pieces soon afterwards, as Fluffy is secretly killed unknown to Samantha in an experiment by Edward and Maxis. The experiment was to have dogs the same as the human zombies. Although the fatal time is when Samatha walks in to the lab to see her father, Edward leaves the room, locking her and Maxis inside, with Fluffy, who is now a Hellhound. And because Fluffy was pregnant, she gave birth to Hellhounds, thus creating more and so on. The death of Maxis and Samantha seems to be the big mistake, as this made everything go out of control, also the rumors of the girl who is heard throughout the game mode (as in when you get the teddy bear the girl laughs) is Samantha haunting the areas, who is supposedly getting revenge due to her death.

The reason Dr. Maxis was trying to make a zombie, or so-called ''super human'' was because he was trying to make an invincible ARMY!! Not because he wanted a zombie... people who think so are really lacking of there own brain ._. so yeah if you don't like my comment then you can kiss my ass :D

he then got all control of the zombies. Dr. Maxis had a plan which was to destroy the Earth to kill all the zombies that were on Earth. So now Richtofen can only control the zombies that are in the moon. Now the crew with Samantha are now trying to defeat Richtofen. That is what i believe.

Samantha then controlled the zombies from the triangle thing. Dr. Maxis then told Samantha to kill the whole crew for what they have done and to kill anyone that gets in her way. So the Samantha has been trying to kill the crew through the game. Then when Richtofen got to the moon he saw Samantha controlling the zombies. Richtofen wanted to control all the zombies and control the world. But Dr. Maxis knew this all along so he made a back up plan. When Richtofen switched souls with Samantha....

Samantha and Dr. Maxis are not dead, but thats what people thought. Instead, the Hellhound send them both to a different location and time. Samantha was sent to the Moon, and im not sure where Maxis was sent to. There was a base on the moon where the group studied zombies and 115. Samantha was found there and the group told Richtofen about her. Richtofen told them to put her in the triangular thing so she can stop being a pest in his quest for world domination....
