Yes I am an Indian too. I am very proud to see the great Chief Dan George in the media. The Chief exemptlifies the character of some our elders. I have been fortunate enough to witness this mystical gentleness of many elders.
Without a lesson book of anysort, their actions teaches me to be grateful for the moment, forget about the past grievences (which I often find hard to do).
Perhaps it is the tone/intonation that are the spiritual aspect of culture.
I Respect that.

Subtitles are always a crap translation of what they are actually saying........

@dogwillhuntt Build all the monuments you want. Who is stopping you?

This clip has endured more than 4 years and over 76 thousand views so far, and in the 11 "pages" of commentary it's garnered to-date, not a single syllable to disprove the one commentary it, and factually most all of Eastwood's movies, makes so plain. Conspicuous by its absence is the "sister" scene to this one, and maybe that's the best (worst? saddest?) commentary of all.

A pity that Chief Dan George made just two major movies. He had such a fascinating presence as an actor.
