  • video is great but sound is aweful. Did you record beside a cooling fan or something?

  • While this is a good presentation of one of the pressures that may have driven the evolution of long-necked giraffes, the competitive browsers hypothesis is but one of many, and many dispute it to various degrees.

    Another theory is the sexual selection hypothesis, built on the idea that more long-necked giraffes would more often win mating challenges.

    Also, note that if the giraffe's neck was much shorter, it would be unable to graze. We should ask ourselves why it has such long legs.
