Hi from your new subscriber from Australia! Found you via the Strathmore class. You are fantastic! Love your style. I too get great satisfaction in using scraps & found ephemera (& not buying into the commercialism of scrap-booking industry) & love my Mod Podge ;) So nice to see masculine art journalling. Very inspiring! Keep on arting! :)

@lenasart Hey, thanks so much for the comment. I am all about the Do It Yourself ethic and gettin' all creative with what you can find inexpensively. Although I must admit I have a weak spot for paint pens and copic markers. I really appreciate your comment about "masculine art journaling" I hope by my making these videos I can inspire more dudes to get past their thinking of art journaling as a "girlie" hobby and start enjoying the benefits of getting in touch with their creativity!

@chongolio I can think of a few weak spots with art materials too! One cannot DIY everything ;) I am passionate about the benefits of art journaling & have been running mixed media/art journalling workshops for girls & have had a few mums ask me about boys. I must say I couldn't quite see how...I support you all the way!

@lenasart The funny thing is if you call it cartooning, draw robots instead of butterflies then call its a comic book all of sudden it becomes a boy thing. Gender is funny like that..
